OUR STORY
Inspired by the heavy riffs and drums of P.O.D. Skillet, Deftones, Metallica, Nirvana and Korn, progressive new Christian alt-Hard Rock band TFB (This Fire Burns) have been reaching the world with their unique ministry style while putting on rock concerts and hosting speaking engagements throughout the West Coast of the United States. 

Finally free from a 15 year long Alcohol addiction, founder and rhythm guitarist/vocalist Red Nobles (Crypt Orchid/Clockwork Hero) found his calling for music and ministry after Rededicating his life to Jesus Christ in 2012 and focusing his heart on the gospel. 

After being Baptized, Red and Drummer/Producer Glen Shackley began sending tracks back and forth online which grew into multiple writing sessions between San Jose California & Seattle in early 2016 - 2017.

What started out as a simple writing session between friends turned into a self-titled EP and the creation of the Broken Soul Tour, an outreach ministry founded by Nobles that has continued on through 2018 - 2019.
This Fire Burns is rounded out by Vocalist Jason Costa, Bassist/vocalist Storm Godsil and 2 Touring Guitarist’s Stephen Palau and (SVH) Scott Von Heldt. 

Opening for national acts Saliva, Trapt, and 12 Stones, This Fire Burns is known for their Powerful lyrics and driving choruses, combined with an energy packed live show.

Family and Friends...
Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and thank you all for the birthday wishes as well; I am so thankful for all of you!
I know I don't share much, but I've received a lot of texts and phone calls about my health issues lately and figured I should address them.
The details:
I have a malfunctioning brain due to a neurological disorder. Haha. I say this lightly and want to keep it light, though this has been one of the most difficult months of my life. (Still smiling and positive 🙂
I have struggled with symptoms of Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress for years, but have kept it a secret while continuing to function normally. Recently, a perfect storm of illness and strange events happened while traveling; leading to memory loss, motor skills deficits, speech impairment, seizures, and 25lbs lost to muscle atrophy.
Long story short-- I'm alive, I'm recovering, I have great neurologists and medical team, I have amazing family and friends taking wonderful care of me in San Diego and Seattle areas ... and there is nothing to worry about. 🙂.
I apologize to the large group of people that have been in the dark, but I promise it's not from lack of love. The last thing I've wanted to do is burden anyone else with my problems while I'm trying to figure out the answers myself. Haha. I am confident that I am getting better, and look forward to communicating with everyone as recovery progresses. 🙂.
